Tom Karen designed the Bond Bug in the sixties and just over 2000 were manufactured between 1970 and 1974. It is suspected that only about 200 remain on the roads today.
The distinctive and sporty three wheelers were all finished in orange and, with their super quirky shape and detailing came to define the outrageous, colourful and fun spirit of the decade. They could be driven on a motorcycle licence and this established a strong association with bikers.
