Our first barbecue at the bike shed was a great success. Guests included Kevin Earll and Marc Earl who were the first two guys to buy Proper Bikes bikes and it is nice to have become long term friends.

Three motorcycle manufacturers created six cylinder machines in the seventies. Each broke new ground in one way or another but, apart from the number of cylinders, had little else in common. We are delighted to have examples of each.

The Classic Bike Magazine experts chose their best buys for 2014 and included the Proper Bikes restored GS750 and original GS1000. The GS750 was also chosen for the front cover and looks fabulous cranked over in the hands of Martin Fitz-Gibbons.
We have just acquired two prime examples that very neatly represent the Suzuki Superbikes from 1977. They are the ultimate evolution from the two-stroke era and the first model of a new age for Suzuki in superbikes; a four cylinder four stroke.
