2016 Z900 Calendar

It is nice to see our modified Kawasaki Z1A featured in the Z900.us calendar for 2016. It shares the September page with the Eagle E-Type Speedster and both are legendary classic models that have been restyled by Proper Bikes Paul Brace.

Trip to the Barbour

We found a beautifully restored Triumph Blazer SS to make a cool and relevant prop for the Barbour International motorcycle clothing store in Brighton. It makes a perfect centre piece and reinforces the collaboration with Barbour and Triumph Motorcycles.

Bike Shed Barbecue

Our first barbecue at the bike shed was a great success. Guests included Kevin Earll and Marc Earl who were the first two guys to buy Proper Bikes bikes and it is nice to have become long term friends.

We have acquired a great example of the quirky British Microcar; the Bond Bug. They are a design icon from the seventies and have become very rare. Our Bug has just been featured on Silodrome, the cool lifestyle website.

The Classic Bike Magazine experts chose their best buys for 2014 and included the Proper Bikes restored GS750 and original GS1000. The GS750 was also chosen for the front cover and looks fabulous cranked over in the hands of Martin Fitz-Gibbons.

We have just acquired two prime examples that very neatly represent the Suzuki Superbikes from 1977. They are the ultimate evolution from the two-stroke era and the first model of a new age for Suzuki in superbikes; a four cylinder four stroke.

New World Record

Proper Bikes Paul Brace claimed a new world record on February 11th 2013 for completing the fastest ever drive between Cape Town and London with international rally organiser Philip Young.
