The enormous impact the CBX1000 made was mainly because of its 1047cc, 24 valve, six cylinder engine but the whole machine was revolutionary and ultra modern in looks and design.
Over 35 years later the styling and design still look crisp and the performance would suprise many younger modern bike riders that would simply not believe that a motorcycle from the seventies could perform in such a manner.

The magnesium cased engine revved to 9000rpm and the sound of this six cylinder motor at high revs is a something to behold. It was very expensive when new keeping production numbers low and increasing collectability today.
This example was originally delivered new to Belgium and has covered just 12,297 miles. It remains standard and unrestored in very good and usable condition. Whilst standing smart and presentable the signs of its age are evident however through dull casings and general finishes and there are scratches etc here and there. Nothing is notably detrimental and by not being pristine it makes it even more inviting to actually ride and enjoy - and it rides beautifully.
Recent service work has included full replacement, upgrade and overhaul of the relevant weaker electrical elements.
